Club Meetings

Helsinki Go Club is the original go club in Finland. The history of the club extends over 26 years and the results of this existence are several players of dan level, tens of kyu players, a number of tournaments in a year and a steady pace of lively club evenings.

We play every Tuesday and Sunday evening in "Go Bear's Place" a.k.a. Pihvipaikka Karhunpesä. The address is Alppikatu 9, Kallio, Helsinki.

Sente was the club magazine, and now continues as Sente-essays. Helsinki Go Club Library is also an extensive service for members.

The first Tuesday of the month is occasionally dedicated to something special: lightning tournaments, go lessons, simultaneous games, etc.
